Name: None So vile
Artist Name: Cryptopsy
Release: July 3, 1996
Thoughts: To the untrained ear, Cryptopsy's None So Vile Album might sound like some of the most inconherent mix of screaming, goat sounds, and bass licks. However, I argue that it is one of the most concise and interesting death metal project to date. The band, starting in the hellish landscape of Quebec Montreal, joined together to create this insanely interesting orchestra of different soundscapes. Every single riff, drum fill, and bass solo fits and transitions so well. Not to mention how technichally comprehensive they are. I couldnt imagine playing one song in full, compared to them on tour playing a good 40 minutes lmaoo. Its also important mention how unique and fitting the lead vocalist Dan Green is within the whole mix. When he left to focus on his career, the band truly lost what made them special. In conclusion, its an amazing brutal death metal album, and it 100% deserves a listen (Date Reviewed: 2-13-2024)

Name: Working on Dying
Artist Name: Bladee
Release: December 28, 2017
Thoughts: DRAINNNN GANGGG!!!! Before the group become literal bisexual jojo characters (which I love), drain gang was much more "american trap" influenced. Mixing their strain of European Cloud Rap, they worked with the legendary group "Working on Dying" to produce the project, with Bladee develivering the vocals. This created one of the most solid entries in the early and even current drain gang discography. Bladee delivers his lyrics with this kind of "laidback-ness" that fits the album (the swedish accent helps aswell lol). Songs like "Gatekeeper" & "Backstr€€t Boys" show that Bladee has actual skill when it comes to just laying down bars. But not to mention the production is actually insane (No surprises). Before F1lthy was laying crazy punk beats for opium he was also on this cloud rap sound. Butttt, out of the members I would have to argue FORZA had the craziest and most memorable beats. It'd be actually super cool to see what F1lthy could do with this sound. Bladee x Carti album when????? (Date Reviewed: 2-13-2024)

Name: The Ghost~Pop Tape
Artist Name: Devon Hendryx (JPEGMAFIA)
Release: September 3, 2013
Thoughts: JPEGMAFIA (Known as Devon Hendryx at the time of the release) is a polirazing figure in the music industry. His hard hitting deconstruction of Hip Hop and his unwillingness to conform to modern conventions has launched him into this cult like following. But back in 2013, he was practically uknown. Releasing music while in serving in the military. "Devon Hendryx" (a very lazy pseudonym of his actual name DeVaughn Hendricks lol) while in Japan released some of his most interesting and experiment music, but also darkest. Peggy's melodic but deeply depressive vocals throughout the track make it one of the most impactful atmospheric rap albums that I've had the pleasure of listening to. There's also apparently a movie he made for this album only available on pornhub lmaoo. We also see alot more singing and melodicism compared to his later work, with alot of the tracks having no rapping or even being completely instrumental. (Date Reviewed: 2-9-2024)

Name: VULTURES 1
Artist Name: Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign
Release: Febuary 10, 2024
Thoughts: LITERALLY WRITING THIS AS I LISTEN CAUSE IT CAME OUT TODAY!!!!! I cant even begin with what to say. Kanye West, Music's most polarizing artist, just released his most anticipated project since probably TLOP. He brings in this Avengers level team of different artists to the board, but what really surprised me was how amazing Ty Dolla Sign vocals were, who is actually the collaborater of the album. NOT TO MENTION MY BOY PEGGY GOT SOME PRODUCER CREDITS!!! I mean, I cant really put into words what Kanye has done, he truly did meet the expectations the world put onto him. Hopefully we get some more from in Vultures 2 & 3. (Date Reviewed: 2-10-2024)
